Toronto, August 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Jamieson Laboratories announced today that it has agreed to acquire PanGeo Pharma's Wampole and Quest brands. The transaction is expected to close early this week. The two brands will continue to be distributed and marketed as Wampole and Quest.
Jamieson is privately owned by best selling author, journalist and broadcaster, Eric Margolis. Under his leadership as chairman, the company has aggressively increased its position as a leader in the vitamin and nutrition industry. Voted consistently by pharmacists and doctors' as their most recommended choice, Jamieson has the highest quality standards for manufacturing and state-of-the-art GMP compliant facilities.

Jamieson Laboratories also welcomes the 135 employees at Wampole and Quest to its operations and looks forward to capitalizing on their expertise and skills in moving Jamieson's growth strategies forward.
PanGeo Pharma has been granted a three year license to use the Wampole trademark in connection with the company's over-the-counter products.
