International Business Leaders Convene in London as Sanctions Relief for Iran Draws Near
LONDON, October 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
As Iran sets to become open for business, International leaders prepare to break into the most lucrative emerging market since the fall of the Soviet Union.
With the removal of international sanctions against Iran on the horizon for early 2016, the opening up of one of the most lucrative markets in recent decades clearly represents a huge opportunity for a large number of businesses across Europe. For any company planning to enter this area, it will be essential to understand and overcome the legal, political and cultural complexities and ambiguities connected with doing business in Iran, and ensure the right doors are open early to help foster essential business relationships once sanctions are lifted.
In preparation for business in Iran, business-leaders across infrastructure, power-generation, energy, water management & agriculture as well as construction, aviation and transportation sectors will convene in London to discuss the commercial opportunities, associated challenges and issues for effectively doing business in Iran. The meeting comes five months after the P5+1 members in Vienna agreed on a Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) that removes sanctions on Iran so long as its use of nuclear energy is strictly for civilian purposes.
It is expected that some 150 senior-executive delegates will be attending the conference where they will be hearing from world-leading sanctions experts, economists, business operators and practitioners in Iranian commerce and trade that/who will spearhead the conference, taking place in London on December 16-17 organised by the London Business Conferences Group (LBCG).
The conference will provide a platform for companies to engineer and nurture business opportunities in Iran's major development sectors as well as highlighting key high value projects underway in the region. Delegates will be hearing from organisations and entities including Renaissance Capital, Turquoise Partners, European-Business Alliance, British Bankers Association, Deutsche-Iranische Handelskammer eV, Cerce Iran Economie alongside former diplomatic staff to Tehran and former operators in the region before the sanctions were heightened.
