HTC en Apple schikken octrooigeschil
- Alle rechtszaken betreffende octrooien tussen de bedrijven komen te vervallen
TAIPEI, Taiwan en CUPERTINO, Californië, 12 november, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- HTC en Apple hebben een wereldwijde schikking bereikt waarbij alle lopende rechtszaken komen te vervallen en een tienjarige licentie-overeenkomst wordt aangegaan. De licentie beslaat huidige en toekomstige patenten in handen van beide partijen. De voorwaarden van de schikking worden niet bekend gemaakt.
"HTC is verheugd het geschil met Apple te hebben opgelost, zodat we ons kunnen richten op innoveren in plaats van procederen", zegt Peter Chou, CEO van HTC.
