HARRY RAMSDEN'S TO OPEN AT DISNEY EPCOT
Harry Ramsden's announces that it has reached agreement with Walt Disney World Resort in Florida to feature its world famous fish and chips at the United Kingdom Pavilion at Epcot, one of the four theme parks at the Orlando resort.
Under the terms of the deal Harry Ramsden's fish and chips will be served from a new kiosk which Disney is constructing, as well as at the adjacent Rose & Crown pub.

The original Harry Ramsden's fish and chip take away opened in Guiseley, near Leeds, in 1928. In 1931 Harry Ramsden opened what was to become the world's largest fish and chip restaurant at the same site. Since going public in 1989 the Company has grown into a world-wide chain, with outlets across the UK as well as Singapore, Hong Kong and the Middle East.
The new kiosk will open in time for the Walt Disney World Millennium Celebration which runs from 1 October 1999 to 1 January 2001 and will provide guests with an opportunity to celebrate this historic moment in time by experiencing informative interactive exhibits, special events and entertainment spectaculars.
The Celebration at Epcot will highlight mankind's triumphs, challenges and opportunities with grand spectacles, new entertainment and fascinating exhibits. Countries and companies from around the world are being invited to showcase ways in which they are making significant contributions to the new Millennium.
