Handelsblatt Publishing Group Expands Its English-language Business Magazine
BERLIN, March 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --
Handelsblatt, Germany's largest business publishing group, today relaunched the English-language Handelsblatt Global Magazine with a new design and added features. The quarterly is the first major business print publication in English from the European Continent.
In the cover story, "The Trade Wars," the new issue covers the global backlash against free trade and lays out options for export-dependent economies to reduce their dangerous exposure to an increasingly fragile global order.
In an exclusive study for Handelsblatt Global Magazine, Austrian star economist Ernst Fehr debunks the myths behind executive pay. Examining the data for 70 leading German, Swiss and Austrian companies, Fehr found absolutely no connection between board-member compensation and company performance. This exclusive study provides compelling evidence in the debate over sky-high executive pay.
As a new regular feature, the magazine introduces a special section with in-depth coverage of a timely topic in each issue. The first issue features a special section on the digital economy and reports on the growing collaboration between start-up brain and corporate brawn, why robots won't steal our jobs, and the British start-ups fleeing London in anticipation of Brexit.
The quarterly Handelsblatt Global Magazine is the premium print and digital publication of Handelsblatt Global, the English-language news website that publishes daily, real-time business news from its international newsroom in Berlin.
The Spring 2017 issue of Handelsblatt Global Magazine is sold at major newsstands all across Europe. Subscriptions and single issues (print and digital) are available at handelsblattglobal.com. The magazine is produced under the direction of Executive Editor Stefan Theil, the former European Economics Editor at Newsweek.
