Tiger Electronics Giga Pets were one of the "must have" virtual pets that took the nation by storm last year. April 1998 sees the arrival of Tiger Electronics Giga Fighters, which are the only virtual pets on the market that have real combat fighting.
This innovative design allows owners to raise their Giga Fighters and put them into head-to-head battle with another Giga Fighter via a linking port that connects the two together. New features also include 10 seconds of real sound effects, sound activation, pause feature to suspend play, a large screen (32 x 20 pixels), 900 screens of high resolution animation, a night light and multiple characters. Each will have six different characters to choose from; interacting with three characters at a time.
But that's not all. Unheard of until now Giga Fighters will be able to connect to a PC via a Tiger link that allows owners to log onto the http://www.gigapets.com website, to unlock and download hidden characters and features for added play, and upload scores to see how they compare to other Giga Fighters around the world.
As always Tiger Electronics have linked their Giga Fighters to the hottest licenses - Mortal Kombat, Aliens v Predator, Batman & Robin, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Marvel Characters and WCW Wrestling.
Giga Fighters will be available at all good toyshops. Tiger Electronics is the leading manufacturer of innovative electronic toys and games for the whole family.
