Eternity Puzzle is Back This Summer With a US$2 Million Prize for the First Person to Find a Solution

One of the fastest selling puzzles of all time is making its long awaited comeback on the 28th July 2007 with a fantastic US$2 million prize on offer to the first person who correctly completes the 256 piece puzzle. Eternity II will be launched at London Toy Fair on the 24th January by Neil and Christine Hamilton, the celebrity couple who were famously declared bankrupt in 2001. At the event, the computer containing a solution to Eternity II will be destroyed in front of the gathering crowds by the UK's finalist in World's Strongest Man competition.
Eternity II is the follow up to Eternity I which captured the imagination of thousands of people across Europe 8 years ago when it was launched. A cheque for GBP1 million was handed over to a student who successfully solved the puzzle in just eighteen months. Eternity II has been developed by the original inventor, Christopher Monckton, a previous aide to Margaret Thatcher.
Unlike most puzzles, which only have one correct way of completing the final solution, there are thousands of ways that Eternity II can be solved to win the US$2 million prize. The puzzle consists of 256 square pieces that are bordered by coloured patterns which must be correctly aligned to find a solution.
Eternity II will appeal to males and females of all ages - from those that regularly enjoy the challenge of puzzle games to those that will be tempted to have a go and try to win the US$2million!

Eternity II will be available as a range of products including the main puzzle with a guide retail price of GBP34.99 (256 pieces) and two further 'Clue' puzzles with guide retail prices of GBP19.99 (72 pieces) and GBP9.99 (36 pieces). Solving the Clue puzzles will reveal locations of key pieces in the main puzzle to help people take one step closer to winning the US$2million prize!
