Hallmark Channel HD Launches Tonight on Sky 220
LONDON, June 28, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Hallmark Channel (UK) HD launches tonight as Sky further extends its High Definition service.
Hallmark Channel HD will be available on Sky channel 220 from 7pm showcasing a raft of its most popular shows in glorious high definition.
The HD line-up includes: CSI: NY, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Without A Trace, forthcoming seasons of House and The Mentalist, and new-to-the UK cop show Rookie Blue, which launches on the channel in October.
Laurence Dawkin-Jones, MD (UK) Universal Networks International, which operates the Hallmark Channel outside the US, said: "Hallmark Channel has a huge number of loyal viewers and I'm delighted that we can now deliver their favourite US shows like the Law & Order titles, CSI and Without A Trace in high definition to really maximise their enjoyment.

Syfy, which is also part of the Universal Networks International UK portfolio, is available in HD on both Sky (channel 214) and Virgin (channel 165).
The launch of Hallmark Channel HD brings to 45 the number of high definition channels available on the Sky platform.
