Dragdis is Reinventing Bookmarking After Securing an Investment of $270,000!
VILNIUS, Lithuania, January 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Dragdis, the start-up that just last year raised $270,000 in seed funding from Practica Capital, announces the date for a global launch of its web application. After a year in a closed beta stage, Dragdis will be rolled out to the public worldwide on the 30th of January.
Dragdis offers a free web app that allows its users to "drag & drop anything anywhere" or, more specifically, save online content by dragging it to either organized folders in the cloud or directly to Facebook, Twitter and soon to come such services as Google Drive, Pinterest or Evernote. While the market is saturated with archiving and note-taking tools, Dragdis distinctively facilitates collecting any kind of content, be it images, links, text or videos. The simplicity of the web app lies in both the drag-and-drop feature and the sidebar that appears on the right side of a browser the moment a user starts dragging an item, easing the process of organizing.
The team behind Dragdis consists of five youngsters with backgrounds ranging from consumer experience development to marketing, who claim that the idea for the concept was born when looking for an optimal solution to store their own sources of inspiration and daily online discoveries. According to the team Dragdis brings a fundamental shift in how people collect and organize online content.
