Dexton ASE Opens up to Open Source Community

CAPELLE AAN DEN IJSSEL, The Netherlands, December 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Dexton, a Dutch software company with more than 20 years of experience in complex integration processes, today announces that they will open up to the Open Source software community to accelerate the adoption of their Agile System Environment platform (ASE). Though demand in the market for Dexton ASE is rapidly growing, the Dutch software company would like to keep their focus on developing the platform itself rather than developing a broad range of integrations with third party solutions. Dexton has ready to market integrations with Cognos 8, Business Objects XI, SAP R3, Microsoft Dynamics NAV and several (back-) office applications. By releasing parts of their source code Dexton enables the open source community to develop many more high quality integrations.

The source code that is released enables development of so called Component Connectors and Application Accessors. These connectors and accessors offer the ability to fully integrate any application functionality and user experience into the ASE platform. All this based on the open source principle, opening up a world of resources and references for the user.
