Januar 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Das Spine Africa Project, eine nach 501(c)(3) geprüfte, in den USA ansässige Wohlfahrtsorganisation, www.spineafricaproject.org, freut sich bekanntzugeben, dass sie die Society for Advanced Spinal Intervention, www.sasiglobal.com, eine nach 501(c)(6) geprüfte, in den USA ansässige Wohlfahrtsorganisation, zur Kooperation ausgewählt haben, um Ausbildungs- und Trainingsprogramme für minimal-invasive Wirbelsäuleneingriffe am Panzi-Hospital in der Demokratischen Republik Kongo zu entwickeln.
Seit 2010 hat das Spine Africa Project Ausbildungs- und Gesundheitsdienstleistungen im Bereich Wirbelsäule am Panzi-Hospital bereitgestellt. Dessen Exekutivdirektor, Dr. Roger Luhiriri, erklärt: „Mit großem Respekt und Optimismus beginnt das SAP sein zweijähriges African Spine Fellowship mit der SASI.
