BBA's Colin Mahoney said, "The Rider's Digest http://www.theridersdigest.co.uk/ was started in 1997 and since then it has built a reputation for honest entertaining writing that riders immediately relate to because it speaks of a world that they recognise, rather than the polished PR nonsense that fills so much of the mainstream.
"As the BBA's preferred content provider we will be featuring a selection of articles and features from The Rider's Digest that are guaranteed to enhance members' visits to our web site."
Dave Gurman, editor of The Rider's Digest, said, "The magazine garnered many loyal readers over the years, carving out a unique niche in the British motorcycling scene in the process. At its peak 32,000 of the free pocket-sized glossy were being snapped up by riders across the UK, so many people came to look forward to the next instalment of real world biking and there was widespread sadness when it ceased circulation in September 2011.
"The Rider's Digest returned as an online magazine in March 2012 - largely as a response to the outpouring of affection and regret on the back of its closure. We have produced sixteen digital editions now and all of them have been rammed with articles that meet, and on many occasions exceed, the standards that we established in all those years producing an eagerly anticipated monthly read.
"However, while the old-school print values we apply to every issue have maintained the quality of our content, our old-world understanding of the Internet and digital media generally have done little to expose us to a wider audience but we are confident that by combining our talents with a computer savvy bikers' organisation like the BBA, the resultant synergy can only be to the benefit of the wider motorcycling community"
