In an extension to the well-established and popular, Fundamentals of Route Development training course, the Fundamentals of Air Cargo Route Development will be held in Manchester on 17th-18th May. The course will be delivered by Peter Morrell, Senior Lecturer in Air Cargo at Cranfield University, Thomas Klein, senior Vice President from Cargolux and Tony Griffin, Senior Vice President, ASM.
This new course will focus on the structure of the air cargo industry with an insight to the main demand drivers of air cargo. Attendees will learn about an airport's air cargo customers and more importantly learn how to meet the demands of the air cargo operators and generate success for their airports.
Several, mainly European airports have already registered for the course and many more delegates are expected to register over the coming weeks.
ASM have also added a further date for the newly launched Negotiating Airline Deals & Legal Guidelines. The next course will take place in Hamburg on the 12th-13th July. This unique two day course trains delegates on how to structure deals that meet the legal frameworks in place as well as pick up tips and advice on how to negotiate with airlines and tour operators across the range of customer types. The course is delivered in partnership with Jeremy Robinson, an expert in aviation competition and regulatory law and a partner at Watson Farley & Williams LLP.
Tony Griffin, Vice President, ASM, commented, "At ASM we pride ourselves on delivering high quality training that equips our attendees with the tools and knowledge to perform their roles to the best of their ability. We listen intently to our industry's requirements and believe these courses help aviation professionals deliver success and new routes for their respective organisations'’
